# Four in a Row — provenance

**Original work, written for ExeBrowser.** `fourinarow.js` and `index.html` in this
directory were written from scratch for this site. There is no third-party
code, no decompiled binary and no extracted artwork: the board and pieces are
drawn with CSS.

Licensed **MIT**, the same as the rest of the ExeBrowser frontend.

## Rules implemented

7x6 upright grid, discs fall to the lowest free hole, four in a line wins, starter alternates. The name "Connect Four" is a Hasbro trademark and is not used.

The rules of traditional board games are not copyrightable. The computer
opponent is our own search and evaluation code.
